Mitzi Verlinde

Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, I’ve also lived in several cities across California and Texas for both college (UW, USC) and my career. I began in food retail, working with Safeway in Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Sacramento as a Store Manager, and later with H.E.B. in San Antonio as a Store Unit Director. Today, I’m grateful to be back in my hometown of Seattle.

I then had the opportunity to work in agriculture in Western Washington as part of my family’s business, serving as President of NASACO. In that role, I supported farmers throughout Western Washington and Northern Oregon by providing seeds, fertilizers, farm supplies, and anything else they needed to grow their businesses. It was incredibly rewarding to serve my clients one farmer at a time.

My experience working closely with farmers gave me a new perspective and strengthened my commitment to truly listening and serving others. Transitioning from corporate America to a family-run business deepened my appreciation for personalized service—something I carry with me today.

That same passion now drives my work in the mortgage industry. I take pride in helping clients find the right loan programs to achieve homeownership. Over the past 26 years, I’ve had the privilege of understanding my clients’ needs and guiding them through one of life’s most important decisions. I’m proud to be part of CrossCountry Mortgage, now the #1 retail lender in the United States, which now does 1 out of every 34 loans in America.
